I’ve never done a Transformation Tuesday, but figured that this would be the perfect time to spotlight my sister Marie and her transformation. As many of you know my sister moved to Charm City a little over a year ago. It was July 30 to be exact. I only know this because Facebook reminded me of the dinner we had at Babas Kitchen on moving day. I’d like to take all the credit for convincing her to move here, but ultimately she made the decision to pack up her life in New Jersey and start the next chapter here in Charm City.
I did get her permission to post this and promised that I wouldn’t embarrass her so I won’t. This is actually sort of an emotional post because I am so proud of her and how far she has come this past year. Plus she’s always a little late posting things on social media and never put a post summarizing this past year, so I figured I’d do it for her. Although it was a tough choice to move to the city, I think if you would ask her today she’d tell you that it was one of the best decisions she’s made (I’d have to agree). The people, the sense of community and just the positivity make it easy to fall in love with Charm City.

Everything from costumes to theme parties to First Thursdays to pushing athletes across the finish line with ASA to training for your first half marathon and so much more.
I don’t even really know where to start or what to say, but it’s been one heck of a year…..#_____ YEAH!!!!
I want you and everyone else to know how incredibly proud I am of what you’ve been able to achieve this past year. You trusted me enough to not only move here, but to pick your roommate and to take you outside of your comfort zone. I can’t wait to see what this next year in Charm City brings for you. I am so blessed to be able to call you not only my sister, but my best friend. #imhappyyouarehere
And for everyone else…remember….it’s never too late or too early to be whoever you want to be.
