This week I had the opportunity to attend two amazing events with Arrow Yoga. For those of you who don’t know, Arrow Yoga is a lifestyle brand creating local and international experiences to inspire personal growth. Their mission is to facilitate global development through personal empowerment and to create meaningful connections with our own selves, our local community and our world.
The first event was Yoga on Tap at Diamondback Brewing Co.in Locust Point. Good news is that this event is the first of many. The next Yoga on Tap flow is March 1st and you can buy tickets here. Spots are filling fast.
The space was awesome and you got a free beer after yoga. Being on Whole30 I couldn’t drink, but Marie enjoyed a beer for me. They also had some great snacks including BBQ pork sliders (vegan and non-vegan) and mini pretzels with dip.
Lululemon Towson was also there and giving away yoga mats and a gift card. I actually won a new mat…so exciting. Definitely add this event to your calendar and flow for some free beer.
On Saturday afternoon, I attended the first of many Living Forward events with Arrow Yoga. The event took place at R. House which was just the perfect space. I got there early and got my homemade nutmilk latte from Ground & Griddled. They also partnered with Stall 11 and gave us all Girl Power Juice.
Living Forward is a women’s networking event series. The goal is to bring women together in order to inspire health, personal, and career development in our community through connection and education.
Once a month they have events to cover one of the following topics:
1. Networking for women in the health/fitness/wellness community.
2. Personal development workshops (goal setting for any and every woman)
3. Networking for women in business/entrepreneurs. Formal panel with Q&A.
It was so great to network with other health enthusiasts in the community and connect to talk about our goals. We introduced ourselves, talked about our involvement with fitness, and each of us said something that brought us joy this week. I met some amazing women and can’t wait to start collaborating and working together to bring even greater things to Baltimore.
If you have an opportunity, attend one of these events. Network, set goals, and make it a point to better yourself in 2017.
