Rounding Out July & Week 22

Ready or not….August is here. Where has the summer gone? 

I’m just going to jump right in since I’m trying to catch up on my weekly training recaps. The weeks keep flying by and we are getting closer to Ironman Lake Placid!!!

Here’s how week 22 went…

Monday: 2,000 Meter Swim + Teach Barre

Tuesday: Track Tuesdayfullsizeoutput_f5b

I love getting back to the track. WIth the past couple of weeks of racing I took a break from speed so it was good to be back. It was an easy day with:

800m Warm Up
400m – 5K pace
800m – 10K pace
1200m – 5K pace
800m – 10K pace
400m – 5K pace
800m Cool Down

1 min rest in between with 90 seconds in between the 1200 and 800. I also ran a little extra to get in more miles.

Wednesday: 20.61 Mile Bike + Teach Barre

Thursday: 2,000 Meter Swim + Teach TRX + 4.05 Mile Run

It was a crazy busy day today and I almost moved the run to Friday, but decided last minute to knock it out. Sometimes it’s hard to lace up the shoes, but ones you’re out there you never regret it.

Friday: REST DAY
